DEDICATED FESTIVAL OF FISHKEEPING SITE

TREVOR TAKES OVER

For the past few years, the Festival of Fishkeeping has had its own dedicated website separate from the main FBAS website, although a certain amount of cross-over still occurred.

The current 'moderator' Dr David Ford has, for some time been talking about re-styling the site and, you could say, has been positively angling for someone to take up the reins and run with it.

Talking to Trevor Butler at this year's Festival has obviously paid off, for Trevor was most interested in David's ideas and what began as an idea to get an assistant for David has now resulted in a full-blown take-over job!

Trevor has always been a techno-whizz-kid (his video for Runnymede Films on setting up an aquarium was the very first FBAS Video as can be judged by its reference number - V.1) so he is likely to take to the task like the proverbial Sand Bay ducks to water. Already he is talking about Facebook, YouTube, Twitter and all those other places mere mortals fear to tread.

Of course, Trevor won't be able to do it all alone and is appealing for contributions (in any media format you care to use - even joined-ip writing!) - about the Festivals you've attended, any candid shots you may have taken over the years, ideas for future attractions and so on.

You can contact Trevor in several ways -

by writing to him at: 47 Falcon Gardens, Littlehampton, West Sussex BN17 7RA

or by emailat at: t_butler2@sky.com

To check on Trevor's progress, once he gets started, you should log on to the Festival website at:

www.festivaloffishkeeping.co.uk

or by clicking on the Festival logo at the bottom of the column of buttons on the left.
