This new Trophy, to be awarded annually at the Festival of Fishkeeping, will recognise effort and dedication to producing, and exhibiting, quality fishes.

It will be a 'calculated' award, inasmuch as it will be quite possible to win it without actually taking a First Place!

Points will be awarded to individual residential finalists in the Supreme Championship and British Open according to their 'finishing positions.'

From a First Place gaining 6 points down to Sixth Place gaining 1 point, the individual Exhibitor totalling the highest total of 'Place Points' will gain possession of this magnificent Trophy.

This Award is not just another Trophy to be added to the list; there is a reason for its introduction:

Producing regular prizewinning fishes relies on a lot of hard work over many months and years. Whilst it may be easy to simply flood the Showbench with entries (some of which may be of dubious quality), in order to finish in the 'Top 6' of two such prestigious Competitions requires some extra effort and consistency of fishkeeping.

This is what is to be recognised, and rewarded, by

The Organiser's Award
