Federation of British Aquatic Societies
Welcome to the official FBAS Website'the most informative and laid out site, with so much information'
Now in its 86th year, the FBAS is the UK's largest, non-profit making fishkeeping body.
This site will tell you all about us and what we do.
But we want to hear from you too: if you have any fishkeeping problems or queries we're here to help
, but if you're in the middle of a successful period with your fish then why not share the good news with us too?
Feel free to browse our site - use the SITE DIRECTORY (left) - and, if you wish, get in touch with us directly by
or by contacting the relevant FBAS Officer by using the
button.
It is as if the Bracknell Open Show always gets the season off to a
friendly start as fishkeepers from all parts of the UK seem to equate
the event as confirmation of the continuing competitive aspect of the
hobby, after the winter layoff period. It is always filled with a
sense of joyous reunification of friends pleased to see each other again.
This year, things were slightly different in that there was no hint of
previous etiquette Rules (no FBAS Rules in evidence), even members of the
public were allowed in almost all day!
A great day out, excellent weather and refreshments and 112 entries.
Well done Bracknell!
