TO APPLY FOR TROPHIES IN THE USUAL WAY

IMPORTANT NOTES FOR 2010

Only SINGLE FISH Classes (B-M, O-T and their 'splits') will be eligible for a Championship Class Trophy.

OPEN SHOW SCHEDULES SHOULD SHOW
THE FOLLOWING CORRECT CLASS LETTERS

as laid out by the Trophy Officer at the AGM.

Class Ha: Aspidoras & Brochis

Class O a-q: Male Guppies
Class O s-y: Female Guppies

Class Y (followed by relevant suffix): Junior Classes
ie, Y b-m: Junior Tropical Egglayers Y o-t: Junior Livebearer Classes

Breeders and Pairs Classes (X b-w, N b-w) are separated into the Tetra-sponsored BEST BREEDERS and BEST PAIRS Competitions (see below).

OPEN SHOW dates will be published here but Championship Trophies allocated to Societies will only be shown after
their 2010 affiliation has been confirmed,
and their Trophy Application received and processed by the Trophy Officer

according to the FBAS Trophy Rules.

The easiest way to do this is to quote your Society's 2010 Affiliation Number in all correspondence to the Trophy Officer and by completing the necessary space on the Trophy Application Forms (Download HERE)

PLEASE NOTE:

Allocation of Championship Trophies is dependent on Societies fulfilling the Trophy Rules requirements.

Apart from being FBAS-affiliated for the current year, Societies are reminded especially in respect of sending the Trophy Officer a final Show Schedule containing sponsors' advertising material (DOWNLOADABLE HERE) at least FIVE WEEKS before the event. Failure to comply will result in the non-issue of Trophies.

  YOU CHOOSE HOW YOU USE IT
F.B.A.S. BROOCH SCHEME

The Federation's Brooch Scheme enables aquarists to total up wins at Federation-supported Open Shows and obtain Bronze, Silver or Gold Brooches to signify those successes.

Qualifications required

To qualify for a Bronze Brooch - 20 First Place Cards are required.

Silver Brooch - 25 more First Place Cards plus your Bronze Brooch.

Gold Brooch - 30 more First Place Cards plus your Silver Brooch.

The Gold Brooch is yours to keep; start all over again for that next Bronze!

IMPORTANT Cards do not have to be gained in any one season, but must all be from FBAS-supported Shows.

IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE HOST SOCIETY'S SHOW SECRETARY TO RETURN DETAILS OF THE SHOW TO THE FBAS
CARDS FROM UNREPORTED SHOWS WILL NOT
QUALIFY TOWARDS ANY BROOCH
